Privacy policy

This policy explains how GROVEMANSE LIMITED handles personal information when you use grovemanseoffice.com or place an order.

Who is responsible

GROVEMANSE LIMITED, trading as GROVEMANSE OFFICE, is the controller of personal information collected through this store. Our company registration number is SC268675 and our VAT number is GB842895390.

Information we collect

Identity and contact details, such as your name, delivery address, billing address and email address.

Order and transaction details, including products purchased, amounts paid and payment status. Full card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by us.

Customer service messages, returns, refunds and delivery information.

Technical information such as device, browser, IP address and cookie choices when you use the site.

How and why we use information

To accept, fulfil, deliver and support orders, and to process returns or refunds — necessary to perform our contract with you.

To prevent fraud, secure the store, keep business records and meet tax or legal duties — necessary for legal obligations and legitimate interests.

To improve the store and measure Google advertising performance — only where the relevant technology is enabled and any required cookie consent has been obtained.

Sharing information

We share only what is reasonably necessary with Shopify, payment providers, Royal Mail, Evri, DPD or another suitable carrier, IT and hosting providers, professional advisers, fraud-prevention services and public authorities where required by law. Google advertising or measurement services may receive data only where enabled and permitted by your cookie choice. We do not currently use Meta/Facebook Pixel or TikTok Pixel.

Marketing, accounts and automated decisions

We do not currently send marketing emails or marketing text messages, and customer accounts are not currently enabled. Order confirmations, delivery updates and customer service messages are transactional, not marketing. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means.

International transfers and retention

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, we require an appropriate legal safeguard. We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention and dispute requirements, then delete or anonymise it.

Your UK data rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or transfer your information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Email us to exercise a right. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.

Cookies, children and changes

Our Cookie Policy explains our use of cookies and how to change preferences. The store is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change; the latest version and effective date will appear on this page.
